Find Your Tribe!

Updated: Apr 17, 2023

Finding your tribe or looking for connections with people that can relate to you and understand you is a fundamental aspect of human nature that has been shaped by thousands of years of evolution. Humans are social animals, and we rely on social connections to survive and thrive in the world. The benefits of connecting with like-minded people are vast and far-reaching, and they touch nearly every aspect of our lives.

We are just beginning to repair the damage of what the covid crisis left in all our friends and family relationships. Some scars will not heal so easily, if ever… I would assume that modern mankind has not experienced such a mind-splitting crisis on such a large scale since the World Wars of the past century.

Metanoia Markt being a place where we would hope for free spirits to meet, so I thought it would be a good idea to write a small article about the importance of feeling connected to a group of people, in real life, not only in a telegram group chat...

Covid didn’t only split up relationships, it was also an opportunity to bind and deepen the relationships to others, forget about old grief, put the past behind and start anew. It was to me...

So it wasn’t all bad… "Never let a good crisis go to waste" as they say… I use that one in a positive way. I make my best to try to make the best out of any situation, adapt my vision to the new paradigm as quickly as I can and move on…

Look for connections for good mental and physical health! In difficult times, don’t stay alone if you don’t choose to intentionally, as there are probably many like you who wish to be with you… Here are a few reasons to go out and find your tribe, we dearly hope you found your tribe with us!

Connecting with like-minded people provides a powerful sense of belonging. People have an innate desire to belong to a group and feel like they are part of something bigger than themselves. Belonging to a tribe of like-minded people provides a sense of identity and is an important source of meaning and purpose. Myself being fairly individualistic, when I was first introduced to a tribe that I actually liked, I felt stronger, more alive and it gave me a stronger will to live, joy, hope and a lot of inspiration for finding my life’s purpose.

We are a social species, social connections provide emotional support and validation. When we connect, we are able to share our thoughts, feelings, and experiences with others who understand and relate to them. This can be incredibly comforting, especially in times of stress and uncertainty. Having like-minded people to talk to and share ideas with can help to counteract feelings of loneliness, isolation, and alienation that the challenging events in our lives seem to have forced us into.

Social connections can also provide practical support, such as help with day-to-day tasks, emotional support during difficult times, or advice and guidance when making important decisions.

Connecting with like-minded people is also very important for our physical well-being. Our social connections have a positive impact on our physical health, including reducing the risk of heart disease, improving mental health, and increasing longevity. People who have strong social connections tend to live healthier lifestyles, and they also have a stronger immune system.

Connecting with like minded people is also important for the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and information. It allows us to learn from and collaborate with others who share similar interests, beliefs, and values. And this helps to broaden our perspectives, learn new skills, and develop new interests. All of this offers us a sense of safety and security, both emotionally and physically and increases our resilience in times of stress and uncertainty.

Building and maintaining meaningful connections with like-minded people is an important aspect of a fulfilling life, this is one the goals of Metanoia Markt. Whether you are seeking new friends, professional connections, or like-minded collaborators, having a strong network of people you can rely on is essential for growth, development and happiness.

Metanoia wishes you many happy connections!
